LSU freshman quarterback Zach Lee is the No. 3 quarterback on the LSU roster at best, but he was the most popular player when media day interviews started.
G. Andrew Boyd, the Times-PicayuneLSU backup quarterback Zach Lee talks about his future with the team during LSU football Media Day in Baton Rouge August 10, 2010.
Lee has been silent about his decision to play pro baseball or college football and baseball since the Los Angeles Dodgers made him the 28th overall pick in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft in June. he said he hasn’t spoken to the Dodgers since draft day and for now expects to be a Tiger.
The signing deadline for the Dodgers is Monday. Lee attended summer school at LSU and participated in summer team workouts.
“As afar as I know I’m here to stay unless something changes,” Lee said. “Right now I’m going to continue to practice and try to improve my game as much as possible. I know I’m going to have to make a decision sooner or later if they put up an offer or an option. As far as I know I’m here to stay.
“I haven’t talked with them or anything. They contacted me to let me know they drafted me. I haven’t heard from them since.”
Lee was a two-sport star at McKinney (Texas) High School. he passed for 5,400 yards and 64 touchdowns as a junior and senior and possesses a 93-miles per hour fastball as a pitcher. he said he plans on playing both sports at LSU if he does not sign with the Dodgers.
According to his high school coach Bobby Reyes, Lee loves college football and wants to play at LSU. Lee said splitting time between the Dodgers and LSU is not an option and admits it would be hard to walk away from a chance to play football.
“It would be a tough decision,” he said. “Any time you are faced with a life changing decision it’s a tough decision. I’ll have to make that decision when the time comes.”

Even the casual weekend hacker – a category in which I unabashedly fall – tunes in to watch the final round of a major tournament, particularly when there’s a certain muscle-bound guy in a red shirt at the top of the leaderboard.
Whether you think Tiger Woods is the greatest thing to ever happen to golf, think too much of a sport is wrapped up in one guy or fall somewhere in between, it’s impossible to deny he is a drawing card.
That card was easily and happily played by CBS on Sunday in the final round of the PGA Championship as Woods was on the verge of his 15th major title. the victory – a foregone conclusion considering he had never lost a major with a lead of two strokes or more – would put him just three shy of the epic 18 majors won by Jack Nicklaus.
But then, repeatedly on the front nine, Woods began missing putt after putt after putt. and it didn’t end there, plaguing him throughout the final round.
The short game at windy Hazeltine National Golf Club at times looked reminiscent of any Saturday at a public course with random guys missing random taps all over the place.
Honestly, it was shocking, and that should take nothing away from South Korean Y.E. Yang. Yang made his blunders, blasting shots into the gallery, rough and bunkers, but recovered better than Woods and critically sunk the putts he needed.the impact of the loss has its most profound on what happens next year in golf’s four majors.
It’s easy to forget Woods is still coming off the legendary performance where he essentially won the 2008 U.S. Open on one leg and ended his season thereafter with surgery. Woods didn’t offer any lingering effects of his injury as an excuse for Sunday’s fade or failing to make the cut at last month’s British Open.
Athletes almost universally have a better year the second year after a major procedure as they mentally and physiologically become adjusted to subtle differences in their bodies. To proclaim the Tiger Era dead and buried after he had a major-free 2009 would be short-sighted. Barring unforeseen circumstances Woods will undoubtedly be the odds-on favorite at the Masters next April and every other tournament in between. if there are longer term effects of the injury that would point toward a legitimate downward trend in his productivity, it stands to reason it would come in 2010.
Gambling that this is the beginning of the end of Woods’ stand astride the top of the golf world – particularly considering he dusted the field just one week earlier at a World Golf Championships event – is a longshot.

The Discovery Channel structure gets in a Shark Week spirit. Photo by Flickr user kodismom.
The Discovery Channel’s Shark Week has been a long-standing convention of a wire broadcaster, that initial ran a full week of specials clinging to a some-more than 400 class of selachimorpha in 1987. this Sunday, Aug 1, starts an additional 7 stately days of shark-related programming. but what have been your online observation options?
The Discovery Channel’s central Shark Week site has no necessity of video available, with shave playlists similar to top 10 Shark Attack Videos as good as top twenty Shark Facts to smooth your ardour for a wire programs.
Those video unfortunately have been not embeddable, as good as for doctrinaire shark fans they’ll substantially come off as reruns. but there is a little strange online calm function this week. The Shark Cam programming includes shark feedings (the Georgia Aquarium has 4 whale sharks — a world’s largest fish — as good as hammerhead, tiger as good as zebra sharks), in further to live chats with shark experts.
You can additionally buy episodes from final year’s Shark Week upon iTunes for a unusually in accord with cost of $0.99 an part (a cost indicate Apple has been propelling calm partners to embrace).
And whilst Late Late Show‘s Craig Ferguson is receiving upon hosting duties for Discovery Channel this year, there’s no video nonetheless of what he competence move to a festivities — except, of course, for this proclamation of his latest gig in June.

Rachel Uchitel, shown here in her natural habitat.
We knew that Rachel Uchitel would not fade into the woodwork forever after taking the alleged millions of dollars from Tiger Woods in exchange for shutting her uber-collagen enhanced lips about their illicit sexual affair. the good news is, who needed her to tell us anything, my sources told me plenty. in particular, Tiger would demand sex AT LEAST three or four times a day, that she would have to drop what she was doing and run to his side…no questions asked. Clearly, the slogan “Tiger in his tank” has new meaning. Woodsy also preferred a different orifice each time, or else. That’s a lot of poontang…even for a hooker. She knew from the moment this tryst started that it would be her life-long meal ticket. Rachel also became so obsessed with her own notoriety and image in the media during that time, that she was impossible to be around. Ummm, I am sure she still is.
Rachel Uchitel has a real talent for handling snake-like objects.
Now Rachel is back in the media with a vengeance, signing on to do two reality shows. who does she think she is…Bethenny Frankel? Anyhoo, La Skank is going to be on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew as well as The Celebrity Apprentice. the thing I take issue with is…SHE IN NOT a CELEBRITY. SHE IS a LOW-LIFE, EXTORTIONIST HOOKER! But, what do I know? according to the New York Post in regards to her upcoming appearance on Celebrity Rehab, “She will be treated for an addiction to pills, the network said without disclosing what type of pills”. well, that’s a no-brainer. She is clearly addicted to birth control pills because she’s never been pregnant and has had more sex than perhaps anyone on Earth. As for The Celebrity Apprentice, I am not so sure that Donald Trump is going to include some kind of cheesy sex act into the show’s format in order to have her conceivably win one challenge. I mean…can she do anything else? Oh, right, she used to work the door at a tacky nightclub. now that’s a real talent needed at the Trump Organization. and (B) what would her charity be, The Ashley Dupre Writing Camp, who takes wayward girls off to a farm to learn how to write a tell all?

Do you want to improve at golf and reduce your golf handicap? Are you just starting out in golf and you want to align yourself with your friends who can already play golf well? Maybe you are starting out and looking to get your first golf handicap or you want to be the next Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy!
There are many ways that you can improve your golf swing and the distance and accuracy with which you hit the ball and they are really in two areas – physically and mentally. The physical side of the game is obviously where you can take lessons from the pros, practice your swing at the golf range, play on the course etc, but did you know that a large part of the game is a mental one? for example, when Tiger Woods was learning, his father had an expert in hypnosis practice his skills on Tiger to improve his game. Tiger credit’s a lot of his improvement on the skills of the hypnotist.
There is a similar way that you can improve your golf mentally by using subliminal messaging, which is a form of self-hypnosis, to help you get better. Having a positive and confident attitude on the golf course is a big plus to the golfers who achieve better results – how often have you heard a top golfer say they lost concentration or their mind wasn’t in the right place? Conquer your mind and you will certainly improve your game. Subliminal messages target the subconscious mind which is capable of absorbing 10 times as much information as the conscious mind and the messages are not sabotaged by the conscious mind. The messages will enable you to be more concentrated when playing or practicing and also will help specific aspects of your game such as your swing, body positioning and technique.
So if you feel like you are stuck and can’t improve or are focused and need that extra edge to beat the competition then try subliminal messaging. Listen to the subliminal messages regularly for a few weeks so that they program your mind to believe that you can play great golf and you should see a significant improvement to your game.

Northern Ireland golf player Rory McIlroy is leading in the 2010 British Open that has started on Thursday. 21-years old McIlroy has an almost perfect 9-under-par 63 – this score ties the record for the lowest ever round in a major championship. McIlroy is the 8th player to achieve such a low number of impacts in the 150 year history of the St. Andrews.
Tiger Woods has finished his round – this was his best start since his returning to golf in April. Woods has only missed two greens and made six birdies. his biggest mistake was shooting the ball off the street at hole 17, failing to make par on this hole.

What PGA pros have the narrowest(correct term?) swing?
Want to get video on some PGA pros who have the opposite of Tiger or DL3(wide arcs).
Am I correct if Chad Campbell or Paul Goydos would fall into this category,or do they just have flat swings?
Can one have a steep/upright swing and still be wide,or vice versa?
i think they are just flat. i cant think of a pro that doesnt get good extension. it is a big part of the golf swing, without a full shoulder turn you cant make powerful swings
