Joe Mauer, the stud on the Minnesota Twins is approaching his comeback after his recent heel injury that has left him sitting out on the bench.
Before the Twins played the Orioles on Thursday the 6th of may, Mauer got out for some batting practice. he still didn’t feel ready to run on his bruised foot, but did mention he’s feeling a lot better. One week without Joe Mauer is one week too long!
Mauer will be using new shoes that have custom orthotics. these custom shoes should help him with his pain until he’s 100% better.
The manager of the Twins Ron Gardenhire does not want to rush Mauer back into the lineup. That would be a mistake as it’s a very long season. a heel injury is quite easy to re-injure, so I like Gardenshire’s slow approach.
Gardenshire plans on waiting until Joe Mauer tells them he’s completely ready to go. Since he’s not been active over the last week, he’ll need a day or two of running around before he gets out there to play. after six long games of sitting out, he’s still uncertain when he’ll be at 100% and ready to run around.
Mauer’s had a positive attitude and knows he’s only getting better. He’s the type of guy that has a hard time sitting out and is itching to get back out there – he wants to play ball.
Unfortunately for the Twins, J.J. Hardy has been out for a few games as well. with the Twins sitting in first place at 19-10, they’re only going to get better with a healthy roster!
When Will Joe Mauer Return?

As we all know by now the Yotes made a trade to get Olli for Boyton Ballard and the 49th pick.
Olli I think will do better in Phoenix than in Florida but I thought maybe the Yotes would have signed someone to get more offense than make a trade for it.
Boyton I didn't think was really any special for the Yotes even though his story about being a Type 1 Diabetic playing in the NHL was inspiring.
Getting rid of Ballard shocked me and I hope that doesn't turn out to be a huge mistake for the team. I saw Ballard being an all star in the next 2 seasons and now the Yotes I think are going to need more help on D than first thought.
Jovo is our best D-man. D Morris is pretty good. Zbynek Michalek is not as close to being as good as the other Michalek in San Jose. Matt Jones is alright.
I'm confused!! Someone help me? It is what it and looking foawrd to seeing Olli play.
What do you think the Yotes will do next?
Is it too much to ask what are the Chances of Campbell being a Yote?
i wouldnt say goaltending. Brygalov was a stud last year and will be a solid goalie for years to come.
They currently have almost 34 million dollars commited to 15 players (9 forwards, 4 defensemen and they're 2 goalies). they need a number 3 and number 4 defensemen. I think they should go after Brooks Orprik from Pittsburg and an another affordable guy like Breezer from the Canadiens. And to answer your question no i dont think Brian Campbell will become a Coyote.
Bryz is solid, but their defense will suffer. they are getting strong with forwards though. I'll enjoy watching the games with phoenix and anaheim
Should the Coyotes have focused more on Defense(maybe goaltending too) at this time?

FishVille is an immensely popular Facebook game which allows players to create multiple virtual aquariums filled with colorful, occasionally stunning, fish. If you’ve ever wanted to succeed at having the greatest tank around you will follow these few simple tips when playing starting your virtual fish tanks.
Check that newbie enthusiasm at the door: when you first become the proud new owner of your first tank don’t make the rookie mistake of getting carried away with enthusiasm and so buying everything in sight. You need to build up your cash and try to make it stretch as far as you can. Leveling up isn’t easy and it takes time. unlike some other games, FishVille doesn’t offer quick rewards. the game makes you earn everything you get. There are many different things going on during the game. There are different challenges that require your friends to gift you the items.
Yes, you definitely need Friends: find out how many of your friends play FishVille and immediately ask them to be your neighbors. You are going to need as many neighbors as you can get. having a lot of neighbors does a few things
* It allows you to ask many people for gifts…
* It gives you more tanks to visit and clean so you can build up you experience…
Every time you level up you will gain one Fish Buck. That is FishVille’s top cash, not its regular coins. There are a lot of very cool things for sale in the store that you can only buy with Fish Bucks so save them up and use them wisely.
FishVille entertainments & challenges: there are always new entertainments and challenges:
1. the “ARENA” where you can train and fight certain fish.
2. There are Pearls and Challenge where you see how many different color pearls you can acquire so that you can buy special items which are only available for purchase with pearls.
3. then there is your “cabinet”. You have to ask your friends for different components like jars and when you have all of the items you will have completed the challenge.
4. the last challenge available currently is a fish challenge. There are four stages for each type of fish and there are a total of five fish. You have to buy and raise a specified amount of a certain fish to unlock the next level. This challenge is good because it allows you to build up your FishVille cash and experience.

In the Strikeforce heavyweight bout last night at the HP Pavilion in San Jose we saw a real shock result which nobody was expecting. Fedor vs Werdum was a bout that many people were looking forward to but the result was completely unpredictable.
Fedor Emelianenko, dominant in Strikeforce for nearly 10 years was finally beaten by a worthy opponent in Fabricio Werdum. Fedor’s unbeaten 28-bout streak ended with a submission in the first round after first taking control by knocking down the Brazilian contender. Emelianenko had turned down offers to go to UFC on several occasions, according to Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times, and was the overriding figure of Strikeforce.
He had been undefeated since 2000. After Werdum had been felled in the first he recovered quickly and forced the submission with an armbar and triangle choke. it leaves Werdum with a chance against Alistair Overeem, heavyweight champion. After the fight Fedor looked crestfallen and disappointed with his performance saying, “I made a mistake. I’ll try to figure out and analyze why it happened. I’m really very sorry, and it’s a pity I disappointed so many people who believed in me.”
Somehow I don’t think Fedor needs to worry about the fans’ reaction. He’s been an amazing ambassador for Strikeforce for so long that his fans will always continue to respect what he does. Werdum’s record meanwhile improved to 14-4-1. For more on this go to latimes.com. what did you think of the bout? We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the fight so why not let us know.
